Three people are being investigated by the RSPCA following a joint operation with Dyfed-Powys Police.
Police executed a search warrant under the wildlife and countryside act in Kilgetty after reports were received about incidents of wild bird trapping.
Three RSPCA inspectors and an independent bird expert, as well as local police officers took part in the search.
In total nine goldfinches, one bullfinch and five bird cage traps and two gin traps were seized from out buildings.
Three people are being questioned in connection with the incident.
