A man has been arrested on suspicion of taking part in badger baiting after a raid on a house in Lancashire. Police and RSPCA officers raided a house in the Todmorden Road area of Bacup on Thursday.
They seized property and removed two dogs, which are now in the care of RSPCA officers.
It follows a similar raid in Barnoldswick on 25 April in which 10 people were arrested on suspicion of cruelty to animals.
In that case, officers were tipped off by a member of the public.
The man is being held at a police station in east Lancashire on suspicion of animal cruelty.
