Hunt sabs discover artificial earth close to hunt meet

Artificial Earth: Badsworth and Bramham Moor Hunt
Artificial Earth: Found during Badsworth and Bramham Moor Hunt meet

Yorkshire Hunt Sabs discovered an artificial earth close to the meet of the Badsworth and Bramham Moor Hunt today.

Hunt Sabs attended an ‘autumn’ hunting meet (previously known as cub hunting) and witnessed a fox cub darting back and forth in the road ahead of the hunt. The presence of the sabs forced the hunt to leave the cub.

On further investigation an artificial earth (photo above) was found, leading the sabs to believe that the confused fox in the road was previously trapped and then released from this earth. Artificial earths are used to contain foxes for release at a hunt or for easy bolting – all part of a day’s trail hunting!
